SafePlay is intended to help parents with a variety of social gaming experiences. We started with Roblox because parents have told us that's where they have the biggest concerns. Discord and VRChat support will be coming soon. We'll notify waitlisters as new platforms are added.
That's entirely your choice. SafePlay doesn't install anything on their device, so there's nothing visible on their end. Child safety experts generally recommend age-appropriate transparency — we'll provide guidance for different age groups during onboarding.
Parental controls typically block or limit access — they don't tell you what's happening. SafePlay lets your child play freely while alerting you only to genuine risk patterns. You get peace of mind without the resentment that comes from heavy restrictions. It's like having a personal security system for your child while they are gaming.
SafePlay is $9.99 / month when billed annually, or $12.99 / month when billed monthly.
Our goal is to be the alert you trust, not one you ignore. We optimize for signal quality so that the alerts you get are informative and actionable. Most parents get fewer than 1 alert per month. How many alerts you receive will depend on your child's experience. Hopefully your child is never in danger and you never receive an urgent alert beyond the regular summaries (monthly by default but you control the cadence).
