SafePlay works quietly in the background wherever they play - across phones, PCs, and consoles.
Link SafePlay to your child's Roblox account in under 2 minutes. No app for them to install. Nothing changes on their end.
Our system analyzes player-to-player messages and account activity for signs of scams, grooming tactics, solicitation language, and requests to move off-platform.
Get a notification when a risk is flagged. Review the context, decide how to respond. Regular digests keep you informed without daily check-ins.
Every alert tells you exactly what happened, why it was flagged, and what you can do next. No jargon. No noise.
User "CoolDude9834" (account: 3 days old) asked your child to share their Snapchat.
A user your child has never interacted with is sending unusually frequent messages.
No new friends or problematic rooms visited. Normal chat behavior.
Monitoring software shouldn't feel like surveillance. SafePlay is designed with your child's growing independence in mind.
Only messages flagged as potential risks by our system are reviewed. Harmless conversations are not accessible.
All data is encrypted, and we don't store user-associated chats after analysis
We make money from subscriptions, not from your child's data. That's our entire model, and we'll never sell personal information.
We offer guidance on whether and how to tell your child you're using SafePlay. Most child safety experts recommend age-appropriate honesty — we support that.
Most games do work hard to keep their communities as safe as they can. But moderating a community of millions is a very different challenge than looking after specific individuals.
By analogy, think of your neighborhood versus your home. You want to live in a safe neighborhood and expect the city to do their part to maintain adequate levels of safety. You might also want an alarm system for your specific home because the city can't have someone watching your house 24/7. There's extra peace of mind knowing that your home is covered.
SafePlay aims to be like an alarm system for your specific child in social gaming contexts.
We realized there was a need and that we had the right background and skills to deliver a solution.
Our team has worked in social gaming for many years and saw firsthand both the magical experiences they can deliver and the dangers inherent in large communities of people. We built tools to moderate a community with millions of active players.
We're also parents. We worry about keeping our own kids safe and talk to friends who kept sharing that same worry, and we realized that we could do something about it. We wanted a tool to help watch our kids, harnessing what we learned from moderating at a much larger scale. That's why we decided to build SafePlay.
